To be honest with you as I write this, we actually know very little about the gameplay of Oxenfree 2: Lost Signals, but it does look like it is following on from what the first game did. There was (and will most likely be here too) a lot of dialogue and storytelling, but it feels way more immersive due to the way it is presented to the player. The original game was all about the player experiencing the story through gameplay, with no big interruptions and long-drawn-out cut scenes. One of the things that are going to set Oxenfree 2: Lost Signals apart from other similar styles of games is the way that it tells its story. Riley who is a new character, heads back home to where she grew up, Camena and there are all these strange radio signals, she decides to investigate them and ends up on one heck of a strange adventure.

The storytelling in that first Oxenfree was truly great and felt like you were taking part in a fun adventure/sci-fi/ghost story kind of special. What we do know is that the story is set five years after the events of the first game. We actually know very little about the story Oxenfree 2: Lost Signals is going to tell us. As I write this the game does not yet have a release date, but I thought it would be fun to take a look at the game and see what looks exciting about it. I played the hell out of the original game on the Nintendo Switch (it is available on pretty much everything) it was a fun sci0fi side scroller and now it is back with a full-on sequel that looks even better than the first game. Oxenfree 2: Lost Signals is a game that I am really hyped about.
